Tales

On this the girl became angry, weeping and wailing, until the elder brother returned, when she called out, 'O husband, what a villain is here! Your brother asked me to fly with him, and leave you!'

There is a book I quite like, with Punjabi folk tales. This one is about the Lord of Death who transforms himself into a snake and a bunch of other things (including a girl) and basically goes around killing people. This is the kind of stuff I read :D Actually, the book is, for something written in the 19th century, nicely written.

Unfinished/Ink, watercolour and coloured pencil. Background missing also, might be added later (or most likely not.. :P ) The ink didn't work quite the way I hoped it would but c'est la vie and all that jazz.

i've visited your tiny website, especially the galery and i love the drawing "patiently" (it would be even more beautiful if this very sympathic character was in a context... in fact, her facial expression made me want to know more about her) it's funny how the people in your works seem to have their own life...sometimes, drawings and paintings are beautiful but the universe is limited by the work itself. in your works, it seems that what we see is only an appearance, a moment in their life.
